GREYCORTEX THE ONLY NTA VENDOR IN CONTINENTAL EUROPE
March 7, 2019: Brno, Czech Republic – GREYCORTEX is happy to announce that we have been listed as a Representative Vendor in the 2019 Market Guide for Network Traffic Analysis. We are joined in the list by several well known IT companies, including global companies like CISCO, and Darktrace. We are the only Czech company to be listed in the guide.
As defined by Gartner,
“Network traffic analysis (NTA) uses a combination of machine learning, advanced analytics and rule-based detection to detect suspicious activities on enterprise networks. NTA tools continuously analyze raw traffic and/or flow records (for example, NetFlow) to build models that reflect normal network behavior.”
“We are happy to be recognized by Gartner,” said Petr Chaloupka, GREYCORTEX CEO. “Gartner coined the term “network traffic analysis” and they know very well which vendors fit the category and which don’t. Many of our customers turn to Gartner to help them navigate the broad range of vendors in the network security space, especially those claiming to offer network traffic analysis. This recognition by Gartner validates the core of our technology in that regard.“
At GREYCORTEX, we use network traffic analysis not just to identify known and unknown threats to the network, but also to visualize any connected device present in the network. This offers government, enterprise, and infrastructure users advanced threat detection and visibility so they can close the security gap left by common network security tools (SIEM, Firewalls, endpoint security, etc.)
