MENDEL enables monitoring of network performance at the level of physical transfer rates. Several performance metrics are measured and recorded such as Round Trip Time, Jitter, Data Transfer Time or data Delay. This approach exposes bottlenecks causing delays of network communication. In addition, administrators can quickly analyze reported problems and see whether these problems were caused at the network or application level.
